Hotels with water parks: fun for all the family

Is there anything more thrilling than a hotel with its own water park?

When the heat is rising and there’s nowhere to cool down, a trip to an Adrenalin-inducing water park filled with slides, rides and waterfalls is just the ticket – and what luxury when it’s just a short walk away from your room.

We’ve found some of the best hotels with their own water parks from Portugal to Hungary, indoor and outdoor and even some that are open all year round!

A hotel with its own water park and Europe’s largest free-fall waterfall

With some of Europe’s most exciting water slides and water falls, the Aquashow Park Hotel has everything you could possibly want to enjoy your holiday.

Last year the park opened its newest ride, which boasts a whopping 129-metre drop, called Freefall. The ride is Europe’s biggest free-fall waterslide and has an adrenalin factor of 4. The White Fall slide also features a sheer drop but this time experienced from within the confines of your own rubber ring. If you prefer a more helter-skelter style ride then, Aqua Show Park offers plenty that twist, turn and snake their way down to the pools.

The 4-star resort offers free access to the park as well as being a comfortable retreat from the excitement of the day. The hotel has two of its own pools, one outdoor where you can relax in the sunshine, enjoy a cocktail beside the indoor pool complete with Jacuzzi and massage rooms.
